Lily of the Valley

I took this photograph this morning; I had no idea that this plant grew here:

It's Lily of the Valley. This plant is notable to me because it is the favourite flower of my friend and fellow blogger Jessica. Its bells are pretty and it's a pleasant surprise to discover that it grows in this country.

  1. Ohhh, pretty! ^_^ I'm not sure how nan found them, but she has always had them. I know in the Midwest they're considered invasive plant species, so if you grow them there you have to watch them! They do spread a lot.

    1. I have no idea if they're an invasive species here; these appeared to be growing naturally.

  2. I love that scent. There used to be a Dior perfume that smelled like that. I think they discontinued it.

    1. I didn't sniff these! I was uncertain of how poisonous they are and I kept my distance. :/
