Happy United States Independence Day, everyone! I hope you've all been having a pleasant day. My father has been away on business this week and only just returned home this afternoon; it's been great having him home again.
Our evening meal had somewhat of an American theme to it: we ate homemade burgers for dinner, and for our dessert we had strawberries, cream and blueberries. It was a red, white and blue-colored dessert!
Happy birthday, America! 238 years old and counting!
