The "pond" in summer

Remember the "pond" that I don't think is really a pond? I have posted pictures of it here in a liquid state and when it's been a small skating rink. Now, in the middle of July, this is what it looks like in the summer:

Other than a couple of puddles, the heat has nearly dried the pond out. I am sorry about the lower quality of these pictures; my phone's camera struggled somewhat in the low light.

    Oh wow. You could hardly notice it. :( I hope it rains for you soon! Our creeks and ponds are over flowing despite the heat! It's been crazy weather here: hot and humid, then downpours.

      A drop in temperature would be welcome, but I want it to be sunny next month. :)

      I'll re-take the pictures of the "pond" with my main camera next time I go along that route...provided it hasn't rained by then! :D

      Yes, it has rained since I wrote this post. :) We had a massive thunderstorm a few nights ago!
