I know that it is just a board game, but I have really missed my Chess set. Granted, it is old, but it is intact (save for some minor bits missing from a piece or two), and of course, it is mine. :)

Chess (II)
I blogged early on about Chess on how it is my favorite board game; I also mentioned that my Chess set has been packed for a long time and that I hoped I would get it back soon. Well, I am pleased to say that today we found the box it was in and unpacked it!
I know that it is just a board game, but I have really missed my Chess set. Granted, it is old, but it is intact (save for some minor bits missing from a piece or two), and of course, it is mine. :)

I haven't played chess in years. Though, checkers was more of my game. ::sigh:: I wish it would come back.
ReplyDeleteHeh, I haven't played Checkers in years! I do, however, have a solid-wood Checkers board packed somewhere though, and while I was glad to find my Chess set, I would like to find my Checkers board too.
