I wrote "Newark fire and rescue" three years ago today:
It's a post in which I covered the actions of then-Mayor of Newark Cory Booker, who saved a woman from her house, which was on fire. I thought his performance was heroic, although in that post I objected to how some people believed he was merely engaging in a publicity stunt; however, it pleased me that most people praised him.
Booker once wielded a reputation for helping people; it's what helped lead to the video he and Govenor Chris Christie acted in together here.
