I received two sets of results back today, one for the Media and one for most recent English assignment, both of which were completed weeks ago. The Media result fell into the range of the usual grades I've been receiving but the English result was significantly different: I received a (low) 1st.
This low 1st is the highest grade I have so far received at university. While it is behind an Exceptional 1st (the highest grade possible), it is nevertheless within the upper tier of grades that can be achieved. Both results I received today were welcome, this one especially so; it's a pleasant return after a week of illness.
