When walking across a bridge over the Trent this evening, I saw this positive message written onto the rails:

    Very important to have on a bridge, given the likelihood of depressed people jumping

      I had not considered that; I'd say you're right, even more so given that the placement of the sentence was in the middle of the bridge.
